In July 2016, five rival NBA team owners – Emilia Fazzalari and Wyc Grousbeck of the Celtics, Jeanie Buss of the Lakers, Michael Jordan of the Hornets, and Wes Edens of the Bucks – met for dinner. That night, they bonded over their shared love for tequila and CINCORO was born. Combining “cinco” for five and “oro” for GOLD, CINCORO symbolizes their mission of creating the GOLD standard in tequila. At CINCORO, our journey begins with the meticulous hand-selection of the highest quality, mature 100% Tequilana Blue Weber agaves from both the Highlands and Lowlands of Jalisco. Guided by instinct and respect, we harvest these agaves when nature signals they are ripe, ensuring each piña reaches its natural richness. These sun-nurtured piñas undergo slow steam-cooking to deeply caramelize the agave. Once perfected, they undergo precise pressing, extracting their essence to commence the artful distillation process. This careful craftsmanship builds our signature taste profile, layer by layer, creating unparalleled richness and depth that dances on your palate. It ensures CINCORO Blanco retains the essence of agave while achieving exceptional smoothness.
